As HIPAA VIDEO’s Vice President of Marketing and Development, Michael de Beer is primarily responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans. He strives to help increase awareness of HIPAAVIDEO.NET’s secure and user-friendly telehealth platform in healthcare professionals. Michael is data-driven and measures the effectiveness of the marketing department.
He implements improvements and is responsible for competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics. Michael arrived at HIPAA VIDEO with a proven track record and a drive to build a large, lean, and above all, profitable telehealth organization.
Michael brings years of experience in developing, executing, and delivering online marketing strategies. Since 2003 he has worked with major clients such as Disney, Universal, Nissan, KPMG, Gatorade, Pepsi, and Canada’s Center for Addiction and Mental Health to name a few. Michael is passionate about recognizing new marketing trends on the web. He also has extensive knowledge in a wide array of technical development platforms. He is tireless in determining the best marketing platforms to use and finding opportunities to expand awareness of the HIPAA VIDEO telemedicine program. Over the years he has founded and built numerous successful online websites for himself and others.
A true citizen of the world Michael speaks four languages and has lived and worked on three different continents. He was present at the birth of the web and his interest in all its opportunities has never waned. In addition to his interest in all things digital Michael enjoys watching the latest documentary films, surfing, and playing tennis. He supports his favorite sports teams with enthusiasm. Whether it is soccer, cricket, or rugby he can usually tell you when the next big event will be. He has traveled extensively and enjoys experiencing new places almost as much as a vacation on a beautiful beach.
